SAN ANTONIO — The KENS 5 Weather Team has called for Weather Impact Alert Days to end our week due to a marginal risk for severe storms with a slight chance for heavy rain.
The Weather Impact Day is Friday, Nov. 8, with isolated thunderstorms possibly sparking as early as Thursday night to the west of San Antonio. Light to moderate rain is expected Friday morning before storms develop in the afternoon.
The Severe Prediction Center has the San Antonio in a Level 1 risk (out of 5) of contending with a severe thunderstorm Friday. We should see this system clear to the east of us by Friday night/early Saturday.
Friday will be our last decent chance of rain for a while in San Antonio.
