San Antonio Pets Alive! works hard to save animals on death row, and they couldn’t do it without hard-working, selfless volunteers. And they were honored on Sunday.
SAPA hosted a volunteer appreciation potluck to honor those that keep the organization thriving.
“We invited out volunteers to come and celebrate them,” said Jason Hernandez, a volunteer manager with SAPA. “Volunteers mean the world to us. We can’t do it alone. We do need community support, we need people to come and assist us on our life-saving mission. This is just our way of just saying thank you to them for all the work that they do.”
