SAN ANTONIO — While the weather may not reflect it, fall finally arrives this weekend! There’s no shortage of events going on across San Antonio for everyone to enjoy as we say goodbye to summer.

Here are our top picks from all the festivities that you won’t want to miss. 

Oktoberfest at La Villita

Happening through the weekend, immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and tastes of Germany right here at home.

The first annual Oktoberfest kicks off this Friday evening at La Villita. The free event will feature live performances, an array of German food and, of course, plenty of beer!

When: Friday - Sunday

Fuerza Regida concert

Happening Friday, California-based Regional Mexican band Fuerza Regida is set to bring their “Pero No Te Enamores” tour to San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center.

The band has skyrocketed to fame in the last year, landing on the Latin billboard charts and working with some big names like Shakira, Grupo Frontera, Peso Pluma and many more.

When: Friday at 8 p.m.

Where: Frost Bank Center (1 Frost Bank Center Drive)

Cost: Tickets start at $55 and can be purchased on Ticketmaster

Festival of Chariots (Ratha Yatra)

On Saturday, stop by the beautiful Woodlawn Lake Park for the 5th Annual Festival of Chariots presented by the Bliss House Meditation of San Antonio.

Immerse yourself in an enchanting experience featuring live Kirtan (music meditation), free Indian cuisine, captivating Indian Bharatanatyam dance, live art, a grand chariot parade procession and much more!

When: Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: Woodlawn Lake Park (1103 Cincinnati Avenue)

Jazz in the Garden

San Antonio Parks Foundation and KRTU 91.7 FM presents the Fall Jazz in the Garden Concerts at the Japanese Tea Garden.

Enjoy an evening of Brazilian music and jazz surrounded by nature. The concert will feature the Katchie Cartwright Brazilian Trio with guitarist Marco Antonio Santos and drummer Fabio Augustinis.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair or blanket for seating. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

When: Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Cumbias, Carros y Comedy

Cumbias Y Carros is a free cumbia music festival with DJs, live bands, vendors, family friendly interactive activations, food and lowriders at the historical Plaza Guadalupe.

The event will kick things off with an interactive DJ and a car show featuring classic cars and lowriders. Attendees will vote on their favorite car.

There will also be vendors with crafted goods for you to shop through, food, drinks, and lots of music.

When: Saturday  from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Where: Plaza Guadalupe (1327 Guadalupe Street)
