SAN ANTONIO — Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder case of a 33-year-old San Antonio father.
San Antonio Police said 33-year-old Miguel Angel Marquez was shot and killed outside his home off South San Marcos Street back on May 19.
Investigators released a video showing two suspects they believe are connected to the shooting.
The victim’s mother, Maria Rivera spoke with KENS 5 Wednesday in hopes the video will lead to arrests. She was just feet away from her son when he was killed.
“He showed me so much love,” Rivera said.
She said around 10:45 that night, she heard her son come home. She said he went inside for a few minutes before going back out. After about 10 minutes, she heard a gunshot then her son yelling.
“I heard his voice,” Rivera said. “Help me, Mom. Help me.”
Marquez was able to get back inside the home, according to police.
“I found him in the kitchen,” Rivera said. ”He had his arms out like this to hold me.”
Marquez’s 11-year-old son who is named after him said he is trying his best to process what happened.
“He was a good dad and I miss him a lot,” his son said.
This family said they do not recognize the men in the video released by crime stoppers.
“I do want to know who did it and why they did it,” Rivera said.
Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information which leads to felony arrests in this crime.
