Police arrest wanted suspect seen on surveillance video stealing from local James Avery stores

Police identified the suspect as 29-year-old Jeremy Ramirez.

SAN ANTONIO — Police have arrested a man wanted for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from multiple James Avery stores around San Antonio.

Police identified the suspect, who was seen on surveillance video stealing inside the store, as 29-year-old Jeremy Ramirez.

Ramirez was wanted by police for allegedly walking into different locations and stealing several pieces of jewelry from display cases before fleeing in a white vehicle. Police say he stole more than $5,000 worth of jewelry.

Thanks to an anonymous tip, police say they were able to positively identify him and make an arrest.

Ramirez reportedly faces felony charges.
