San Antonio's IFA Football team reveals its official name

The city's new IFA Football team reveals its official name as "The Caballeros."

SAN ANTONIO β€” In case you did not know, San Antonio will have a new football team that is part of the new IFA Football League.

However, it has been unnamed for months until now.

The team has officially revealed its name, which blends the Mexican culture and American spirit: The Caballeros.

The team colors are red, white, and blue. The state of Texas is part of the team's logo, along with a fierce-looking horse.

IFA Football is a professional league that will kick off in June 2025. It has teams in the USA and Mexico.

Head coach Hal Mumme appeared on a recent episode of Locked On Spurs to break down the league and the team and explain how much they want to be a part of the San Antonio community fabric.

The Caballeros also held open tryouts to attract local football talent and signed players to the roster before the start of the league.
