Check out this awesome nostalgia-filled Victor Wembanyama painting; Juan Nunez inks deal with Barcelona

Wemby is now larger than life on canvas!

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama is larger than life on and off the court... literally!

Standing at 7-foot-4, he towers over all and dominates on both ends of the floor while on the court.

And one artist accepted the task of depicting Wemby and his massive talent on canvas.

Artist Pierick Smith recently shared on social media that he is completing artwork featuring the Spurs center with a cast of characters in the background.

As Wemby is flying in the air (and causing a lunar eclipse), ready to dunk the ball, Smith has a zany cast of characters watching.

From Taylor Swift, Mario from the video game "Mario Bros.", Marvel's Groot, Nikola Jokic, Anthony Edwards, Pee-Wee Herman, Tina Turner, and Chet Holmgren to the mutant himself, X-Men's Wolverine, this will be a must-have for all Spurs fans.

"Picture this: a canvas that's not just a canvas; it's a touchdown Time Machine for the most epic sports moments ever seen. From slam dunks that defy gravity to touchdown dances that rival the best TikTok moves, our artist captures the adrenaline, the sweat, and the glory of the sports world like no one else," Smith wrote on his official website.

The poster is nearing completion, and you can bet that Spurs fans will have it hanging on their walls.

Who else can you find hiding in the background? Let us know!

JUAN NUNEZ IS HEADING TO BARCELONA

According to Spanish website Marca, Spurs' Juan Nunez has inked a deal to join Spanish team Barcelona.

Reportedly, Barcelona bought him out (400,000 Euros) from Real Madrid. His contract with Barcelona is set at 1.5 million Euros.

Nunez would not be part of Madrid's long-term plans, and Madrid reportedly did not exercise its right of refusal.

"I would like to have a playmaker, and we have liked Juan Nunez for a long time. Every year, we bet on a young player with a future, and he would fit in very well with the team," said Barcelona Sports Director Juan Carlos Navarro.

Nunez was selected by the Pacers in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft and then traded to San Antonio.

He will likely continue to develop overseas before leaping to the NBA.
