SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs guard Blake Wesley will be a guest coach at the Camana Bay and Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA Basketball Camp from July 22 to 26.
The week will include a variety of Jr. NBA and Jr. WNBA clinics and programming for players, fans, and families, with 3-on-3 tournaments, skills challenges, clinics for aspiring female players, and a Special Olympics clinic.
“We embrace this shared goal of expanding our grassroots basketball development efforts and providing more opportunities for Cayman youth, fans and families to learn the values of the game and importance of a healthy, active lifestyle for years to come," said NBA Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer Mark Tatum in a release.
SPURS SLOTTED IN GROUP B IN THE 2024-25 IN-SEASON TOURNAMENT
The Spurs will be in Group B for next season's Emirates NBA Cup, along with the Thunder, Suns, Lakers, and Jazz.
According to the NBA, all 30 teams will compete in the NBA Cup on November 12, with eight teams advancing out of groups into the knockout rounds. The semifinals and championship will be held in Las Vegas on December 14 and 17.
