Can the Spurs beat the Hornets tonight at home?

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (6-30) will host the Charlotte Hornets (8-27) tonight for their first meeting of the regular season.

The Spurs are coming off a road win versus the Pistons, 130-108.

The Spurs recorded just five turnovers for the game and had 70 bench points to cruise to the win.

Victor Wembanyama had his first NBA triple-double with 16 points, 10 assists, and 12 rebounds on the night. Jeremy Sochan had 15 points and four rebounds. Keldon Johnson added 17 points and one rebound off the bench. Devin Vassell recorded 16 points in the win while Tre Jones added 11 points and five assists.

"Even these last couple of games we've just been playing better. It feels like, to me, we're starting to get on the right track," Wembanyama said. "We're starting to play together as a team. Starting to be connected on the offensive end, and the defensive end. Wemby having a triple-double tonight was huge for us."
