Five things to watch: San Antonio Spurs vs. Utah Jazz

Can the Spurs extend their winning streak to four?

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (9-8) will visit the Utah Jazz (4-12). The Spurs are 2-1 against the Jazz this season and are on a three-game win streak.

GAME REWIND

The Spurs are coming off a 104-94 home win versus the Warriors.

Victor Wembanyama finished with 25 points and seven rebounds. Julian Champagnie had nine points and five rebounds, Blake Wesley finished with seven, Malaki Branham had six and two rebounds, and Chris Paul had nine points and seven assists.

Harrison Barnes added 22 points, and Stephon Castle had 19 points and three assists.

Due to injury, San Antonio was without Devin Vassell, Jeremy Sochan and Keldon Johnson. Head Coach Gregg Popovich was also out due to illness. Assistant coach Mitch Johnson assumed head coaching duties for the game.

"I think the biggest thing for us is just doing it by committee and celebrating each other's success," said Barnes. "Shout out to, obviously, Blake (Wesley). Blake tonight, Mamu (Sandro Mamukelashvili) tonight, just bringing energy off the bench. Both those guys and now the rotation, but they stepped up for us in a big way tonight."
