Can the Spurs get a win on the road versus the Lakers?

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (11-45) will visit the Los Angeles Lakers (30-27) Friday night, in the seventh game of a Rodeo Road Trip that has seen the team struggling to secure victories despite competitive play. They're 1-5 so far on the trip.

GAME REWIND

The Spurs are coming off a road loss to the Kings, 127-122.

Victor Wembanyama finished with 19 points and 13 rebounds, while Jeremy Sochan had 16 points and eight rebounds. Keldon Johnson added 18 points off the bench and Devin Vassell recorded a team-high 32 points in the loss. Tre Jones added 10 points and nine assists.

The team recorded 37 assists, 42 rebounds, 72 paint points and eight turnovers.

"I couldn't be more proud of them," Gregg Popovich said after Thursday's game. "We made mistakes. They made mistakes. They're an experienced team now, with the young kids having grown up. (Domantas) Sabonis and (De'Aaron) Fox are all-star caliber players and added some free agents. For us to do what we did, I couldn't be more proud of them."
