Five things to watch: Spurs vs. Warriors

Can the Spurs end their 10-game losing skid against the Warriors?

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (3-12) will visit the Golden State Warriors (7-9) tonight. The Spurs are on a 10-game losing skid.

GAME REWIND

The Spurs are coming off a home loss versus the Clippers, 109-102.

Victor Wembanyama had 22 points, three assists, and 15 rebounds while Cedi Osman recorded five points. Zach Collins had 16 points and nine rebounds in the loss. Jeremy Sochan had 19 points. Keldon Johnson added 15 points. Devin Vassell recorded 18 points after being out due to injury.

“I was proud of them. We had a bad first quarter shooting-wise, obviously, but they only scored 26 in that quarter, so that really wasn’t a bad quarter, except for our shooting," Gregg Popovich said. "But in the next three quarters, we outscored them 92-87. That’s not a win, but their competitiveness was off the charts, and the execution keeps getting better for a team that’s never played together. I was proud of them, and I thought they did a good job.”
