SAN ANTONIO — If you want to visit San Antonio Spurs murals, you can drive to any part of the city and likely find one.
However, you can stop at the new downtown Spurs shrine if you want something fresh and new.
In case you didn't know, a Spurs shrine is open to the public outside the Frost Tower. It perfectly captures the team's history with memorabilia dating back to the Hemisfair Arena days, the Tim Duncan era, and the current roster.
With a "Por Vida" neon light at the center, items you can find range from the original seats and memorabilia from the Hemisfair Arena, photos of Duncan's NBA Draft Day, bobbleheads, posters of David Robinson dunking, magazine covers featuring Spurs players such as Manu Ginobili, basketballs, pennants and so much more.
You can find something new hidden inside the shrine whenever you look around. It is like taking a trip back in time and to the present of the franchise's history.
