Oddsmaker projects Spurs as next stop for Brandon Ingram if he doesn't stay in New Orleans

One oddsmaker projects the Spurs with strong odds of landing Ingram.

SAN ANTONIO — Las Vegas oddsmakers are busy with 2024-25 NBA Draft prop futures and projecting where Pelicans' Brandon Ingram will land next season.

According to oddsmaker Bookies, the projection is the San Antonio Spurs could be Ingram's next NBA home if he does not remain in New Orleans next season.

Bookies has the Spurs landing Ingram with +400 odds. The Pelicans lead the pack with +275 odds.

Trailing the Spurs are the Timberwolves (+500) and the Jazz (+650).

Ingram might become a highly sought-after player this offseason. According to The Athletic, the Pelicans made it clear to him and his representation that they weren’t interested in signing him to the four-year, $208 million max extension Ingram was seeking this offseason, according to their league sources.

The Athletic also reports that New Orleans does hope to keep him with the team.

Ingram finished last season averaging 20.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.7 assists in 32.9 minutes per game. He shot 49.2% from the field and 35.5% from the three-point line in 64 games.

With the Spurs looking to advance their rebuild, adding Ingram would help. He could be part of the team's return to the top of the NBA and not be a "rental player."
