Pacers 152, Spurs 111: What they said after the game

San Antonio was down as much as 44 points on the night versus Indiana.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs were handed one of its worst losses this season losing to the Indiana Pacers 152-111 in Indiana. San Antonio's largest deficit was 44 points in the game while the Pacers connected on 12 3-pointers for the game. Indiana head coach Rick Carlisle also netted his 900th career win.

Victor Wembanyama had 13 points, and 10 rebounds while Keldon Johnson finished with 16 points and three rebounds. Zach Collins had 14 points and five rebounds in the loss. Doug McDermott led the Spurs with 17 points off the bench. Devin Vassell was out with a groin injury and Malaki Branham started in his place.

The Spurs are 3-4 on the season, on a two-game losing skid, and will next visit the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.

SPURS

Gregg Popovich

"I think they (Pacers) kicked our butts. They deserve credit. I think the only guys on our team were Keldon and Zach who showed consistent, decent play, and competitiveness. They did a good job jumping on us. That's about it."

McDermott

"I think it was one of those games where you got to give them a lot of credit. They made a lot of shots. Part of it was on us. The way we were getting back and giving them those easy ones. I think we need to learn from this one."
