A little more than a year after proposing, San Antonio Spurs guard Patty Mills is officially a married man.
The couple had been dating for several years and announced their engagement last May. They met while attending St. Mary's College in California together.
They were recently married in Waimea Valley in Hawaii. Among those in attendance was former Spur Boris Diaw, who posted a photo showing Patty's burgundy suit and Alyssa's dress.
Alyssa Mills is the founder and designer of Strait Swim, a swimwear line inspired by Patty's native Australia. Her brother, Alex, posted a photo of the happy couple on their wedding day.
Patty Mill,s who turns 31 next month, has played 10 seasons in the NBA, including the last eight with the San Antonio Spurs. His teams have never missed the playoffs. Last season, he averaged 9.9 points and 3.0 assists per game while shooting 39.4 percent from behind the three-point line. He has two years left on a contract that is reportedly worth another $25 million before he can become a free agent in the summer of 2021.
