Report: Spurs among teams interested in free agent Tobias Harris

Should the Spurs chase the 13-year NBA veteran?

SAN ANTONIO — According to a report from The Philadelphia Inquirer, the San Antonio Spurs are among the teams interested in free-agent forward Tobias Harris.

"The Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz, San Antonio Spurs, and Dallas Mavericks were among the teams expressing interest in the 13-year veteran, according to a source," The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Harris averaged 17.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists this past season. 

The NBA veteran forward would add experience to the roster, a big to help Victor Wembanyama in the paint, can be versatile on defense, and is a career 37% three-point shooter.

He inked a five-year, $180 million deal with the 76ers in 2019 and has played 60-plus games in the last five seasons.
