Five things to watch: Spurs vs. Hawks

Can the Spurs snap their 12-game losing skid against Atlanta?

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (3-14) will host the Atlanta Hawks (8-9) Thursday night and welcome back coach Quin Snyder, Patty Mills and Dejounte Murray. The Spurs are currently on a 12-game losing skid.

GAME REWIND

The Spurs are coming off a road loss against the Nuggets, 132-120.

Victor Wembanyama had 22 points, six steals and 11 rebounds to lead the team, while Cedi Osman recorded seven points. Zach Collins had nine points and four rebounds in the loss. Jeremy Sochan had four points but exited the game after the first half with an injury and did not return. Keldon Johnson added 10 points and Devin Vassell recorded 19 points.

"I want him (Wembanyama) to play both (center and forward). I don't want him to just be a perimeter player or just a post player," Gregg Popovich said. "He can affect the game in both areas. He's got to get minutes in both."
