SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs (6-8) will host the Oklahoma City Thunder (11-3) tonight. The team will look to snap its two-game losing streak.
GAME REWIND
The Spurs are coming off a 110-93 road loss versus the Mavericks.
Zach Collins finished with 20 points and six rebounds. Julian Champagnie had 13 points and two rebounds, Harrison Barnes finished with four, Keldon Johnson had eight, and Chris Paul had 11 points and three assists.
Sandro Mamukelashvili added 14 points, and Stephon Castle had 12 points and three assists.
San Antonio was without Jeremy Sochan and Victor Wembanyama due to injury. Devin Vassell was out due to injury management. Head coach Gregg Popovich was also out due to illness. Assistant coach Mitch Johnson assumed head coaching duties for the game.
"We don't look at it as those guys are out. The game is easier when we're fully healthy. Rotations are cleaner, and that's just what we used to be playing with," said Collins. "So you could say we tonight was different because it was the first game of the season. We didn't have Victor (Wembanyama), and Dev (Vassell) has been helping us so much recently. But we're professionals, man, and that's no excuse."
