SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs officially announced that they acquired veteran forward Harrison Barnes from the Sacramento Kings in a three-team deal, including the Chicago Bulls.
San Antonio also received the right to swap first-round picks with the Kings in 2031 and sent RaiQuan Gray to Chicago. San Antonio also waived Charles Bassey.
Barnes has career averages of 14.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 31.6 minutes per game.
Last season, he averaged 12.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. He connected on 47.4% from the field and 38.7% from the three-point range in 82 games.

He should add more veteran know-how (after reportedly signing NBA veteran point guard Chris Paul), a great locker room presence, playoff experience, and help open space on the court for Victor Wembanyama.

SAN ANTONIO STUDENT WINS 2024 NBA MATH HOOPS GLOBAL TITLE
Congratulations to San Antonio's Camila Ramirez. She won the 2024 NBA Math Hoops Global Championship in New York City and was selected to represent the Spurs Math Hoops program, presented by Whataburger, at the national competition.
During NBA Draft Week, she teamed up with Ileana Mora-Gomez from the Pacers Math Hoops program for the Global Championship. The math stars won it all out of 24 students (12 teams of two).
