SAN ANTONIO — H-E-B announced Thursday afternoon that stores in the San Antonio area will close at 6 p.m. due to winter weather.
Stores in the San Antonio metro area, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, New Braunfels, Lytle, Seguin, Floresville, Pleasanton, Schertz, Spring Branch, Boerne, and La Vernia are scheduled to reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday.
The arctic blast has brought freezing precipitation to central Texas, and public officials are urging residents to stay off the roads for non-essential travel.
