SAN ANTONIO — After winning the silver medal with Team France at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama is decompressing and relaxing in Costa Rica.
Wemby visited several Costa Rican restaurants and was kind enough to snap photos with the staff.
He visited one dining spot in the Pacific Mountains of Costa Rica sporting a new hairdo with twisted braids.
He then visited Mestizo Uvita, and the staff was ecstatic to have him visit their place.
"What a pride! Today we had the honor of receiving in Mestizo Tradition and fusion Wemby, outstanding NBA player. Thank you for choosing us!! It fills us with joy to know that our traditions and flavors are appreciated by sports stars," Mestizo Uvia posted.
Wemby will need all the rest he can get with the Spurs training camp ahead.
The 2023-24 Rookie of the Year is expected to have a tremendous sophomore season while looking to help the Spurs come out of their rebuild.
