SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs' Victor Wembanyama and Team France started their Olympic exhibition slate against Turkey, cruising to an easy 96-46 win.
Wembanyama finished with 24 points, six rebounds, four assists, and three blocks in 20 minutes.

He also got pranked by his fellow French teammates before tipoff.
During player introductions, Wemby ran out onto the court, believing his teammates were behind him to excite the crowd.
One problem: they all stayed behind in the tunnel, snickering at Wemby as he was alone on the court with the culprit, Nicolas Batum, stopping Evan Fournier and the rest of the team.
Ultimately, the team ran out on the court, and Wemby was a great sport.
SPURS ROOKIES TALK EARLY NBA ADJUSTMENTS
Spurs rookies Stephon Castle and Harrison Ingram are getting an early taste of the NBA level of play and are adjusting well.
The pair completed a Summer League mini-camp before heading to Sacramento and Las Vegas for the Summer Leagues.
Castle and Ingram spoke out on what they see about the NBA style of play.
"I'm starting to pick up on the speed of the game," Castle said. "Physicality, probably. Guys are stronger, older. I'm just getting adjusted to that."
"I would say, first, attention to detail. They say things once. You get it right there," Ingram said. "The skill level. Everybody is making shots. You leave somebody open, it's going in. Whereas college, sometimes you can get lucky with leaving somebody open or sagging off somebody else."
The Silver and Black will participate in the California Classic at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento beginning July 6 when they take on the Charlotte Hornets.
In Las Vegas, the team will make their 15th appearance in the NBA 2K25 Summer League on July 13 versus the Trail Blazers at the Thomas and Mack Center at UNLV.
